The true mullett

The other day I was at the Jeep dealership checking out a possible new vehicle when I saw the most amazing thing. Now I know that to most people a haircut is not necessairly an amazing thing, but I am a hairdresser, haircuts amuse me. And this one particular style was the truest example of an american stereotype.
I was standing in the middle of the parking lot staring at my new dream car when I say a guy checking out a huge extended cab, 1/2 ton truck. (I'm a girl so I don't know much about trucks but I do know what this guy was looking at). At first I didn't get the greatest look at him because he was bent over the front of the truck checking out the engine. When he stood up however, I got the full look. There he was in all his glory. From bottom to top...work boots, tapered leg jeans, t-shirt with some big logo on the front, denim jacket (the exact same color as the tapered leg jeans) and.....a mullett. And I mean a true mullett. He had short hair on the sides, longer on the top and brushed back, and then beautiful curly locks flowing down the back. Now the long hair didn't quite hit his shoulders, so that makes it a conservative mullett; but it was a classic.
Who says there isn't any style on PEI? I think a guy whith a BIG truck and a BIG mullett is a great example of style. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I had met this guy and his truck at the Lobster Shanty. Now that is truly a great image to conjure up!!
Cheers!
